We are new parents dedicated to building the best play-to-learn family club for our future generation. From explorative play areas and educational workshops to an all-day cafe and networking events, Funzy helps everyone—from toddlers to adults—have fun, learn and build bonds that last a lifetime.
our story
Juggling work, childcare and urban living isn’t easy—we know from experience! That’s why we—Melody, Olivia and Rebecca—created Funzy Play, a play-to-learn family club where parents and children alike feel safe, inspired and connected.
Our shared play-to-learn approach comes from our experiences in different stages of motherhood as well as training in early childhood education. At Funzy, kids love our explorative and structured play activities that make building skills and friendships a fun adventure.
We also lend a helping hand to parents and carers with our all-day cafe where all can gather, relax and connect with each other through our networking and events programming on urban parenting, childcare resources and much more.

So after receiving my Early Childhood Education MA at Columbia University, I became a preschool teacher while building Funzy Play’s first location in New Jersey. I created Funzy as an oasis where children have the freedom to truly be kids: to explore, be crazy, learn and have fun while bonding with others. It’s about helping parents develop their kids’ confidence and strengths. As a mom, I know Funzy will also be a place where I’ll learn a lot too.
